"Service Department Lacks Quality"
The staff are nice, but the service department is a letdown. For instance, the Allen bolt on the brake caliper became unusable after just one visit when I took my £6,000 bike in for its first service.

"Awesome support from the team."
I purchased a Specialized Riprock 20 for my daughter this Christmas from Fudges, and they were amazing. Andrew provided such friendly service. Even though Royal Mail and Parcel Force dropped the ball with their slow delivery, I'm still really pleased with the help I received from Fudges. Wonderful folks!

"Awesome price and service, but courier selection needs work"
I ordered a bike and was first informed it would arrive in 48 hours. When I called, I was told it might take as long as five days! On the fifth day, I found out the bike had been stolen during delivery. They set up for a new bike to be sent out. Mike and Dave were super helpful throughout this whole situation, but I gotta say, their courier choice leaves a bit to be desired.

"Decent service, but could use a bit more helpfulness"
I've been a customer at this shop for over three years now. I purchased a pricey R&M bike from them (costing more than £4000) and I take it in for a full service two to three times annually, with each visit costing between £120 and £160. You could say I'm a regular... Recently, I was in the market for some oil or a product to help lubricate my bike's suspensions since it was making a creaking noise. Instead of offering a recommendation, they asked me to bring the bike in for a £30 inspection. I get that everyone’s got to earn a living, but after all the cash I've shelled out there, I was let down that they couldn't provide a simple piece of free advice. I ended up turning to bike forums and Facebook groups for help, and it turns out all I needed was some lubricant, not a fancy diagnosis. Their bike servicing is solid, but I often find myself having to return once or twice for adjustments, which is frustrating given the high prices. Plus, when I do bring it back, I usually get a bit of attitude from their mechanic, which feels out of place considering what I’m paying. If there was another R&M dealer nearby, I might just give them a try to see if they could do better. I’d rate it 3.5 stars.

"Angelo from Fudge's Cycles on Harrow Road..."
Today, Angelo at Fudge's Cycles on Harrow Road fixed a mechanical problem that had stumped two other bike shops in the area! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and really eager to assist - you made my day, thanks a ton!!

"Top-notch Service!"
Top-notch service! The staff had a fantastic attitude and did an awesome job. I had been stopping by their shop a couple of mornings each week to pump up my tyre, and when my regular bike mechanic let me down, I decided to try them out for a chain set service. They really nailed it—stripped it down, cleaned everything up, swapped out the chain set, and all in just one day. I couldn't be more satisfied with their work; they were super nice, respectful, and professional throughout the whole process. I also forgot to mention a slow puncture when I dropped off the bike for service, but a week later, they had a new tube fitted for me in just 15 minutes. Highly recommended!

"Dropped by Fudge to chat with the crew"
I swung by Fudge to chat with the crew, and John was super helpful. I initially thought I needed a handlebar extension, but it turned out my seat was just way too high and at a strange angle. Their knowledge and advice are top-notch; I can't recommend them highly enough! I'm planning to return next week to get my bike serviced.

"Caution When Seeking Repairs Here"
Be careful if you're thinking about getting repairs done here and definitely get another estimate. I popped into Epsom to have a new chain installed. They told me my rear cog needed changing (which it really didn’t) and claimed they couldn’t just swap the chain out due to health and safety concerns. Initially, they quoted me £120, but when I mentioned a missing spoke, the price jumped to £140. Must be a gold-plated spoke, I reckon. To cut a long story short, I took my bike to a local repair guy and it only cost me £25. Job's a good 'un.

"Awesome service with a friendly vibe!"
Just had a fantastic experience at Fudges. The staff were super welcoming and really helpful. They offered solid advice and even checked and tightened a bolt on my folding bike in no time. Definitely recommend this place!

"Awesome experience from beginning to end!"
I got a flat tire close to Fudges on Harrow Road, and they were incredible! They fixed my tire in no time, so I didn’t end up late. They also swapped my tires for some top-notch Kevlar ones that don’t get flats all the time. Best of all, they were super friendly, explained everything in a way I could understand, and didn’t treat me like a total newbie—something I’ve noticed in many other bike shops. I’d definitely recommend them!

"The £8,000 Electric Bike Trouble with Fudges"
Not long after purchasing two Riese & Müller electric bikes costing over £8,000 from Fudges, one started having major issues. After spending weeks in their repair shop, it came back still not working right and keeps breaking down on every ride. Unfortunately, Fudges hasn’t provided any solutions and hasn’t replied to our request for a refund or a replacement. Now, we’re left with no choice but to take legal steps to get our money back. If I had known about Fudges' serious lack of customer service, I wouldn’t have bothered with them at all.

"Awesome Service and Helpful Advice"
I brought my bike to the Paddington shop on a whim for some unexpected crash repairs and a tune-up. Alessio greeted me with a warm and friendly attitude, and they took my bike in for a check-up. Sadly, one of the crucial parts I needed couldn’t be found in the time I had - it wasn’t just Fudges, no Shimano dealer in town had it in stock. But, without charging me a dime, the workshop fixed my bent derailleur hanger so I could still ride, and they gave me a straightforward assessment of what my bike needed. Super friendly service from Alessio and the team; I’ll definitely come back for the service next time I’m around.
"Amazing help from Alessio!"
Amazing help from Alessio! I visited the Paddington shop on Harrow Road and received top-notch customer service from manager Alessio. He provided great advice on my bicycle and really tried to accommodate my busy schedule. The turnaround was quick, and the crew did an excellent job on my bike - it felt brand new! I strongly suggest this store, especially Alessio. Also, Adrian was super helpful over the phone. Thanks a ton! Grazie mille :)

"Disappointed with the Manager's Attitude during Exchange"
I went in to swap a £5 inner rubber tube, and honestly, I've never felt so disrespected in my life. The so-called manager was incredibly rude. They didn’t want to hear me out, didn’t let me explain anything, and had a really bad vibe. It felt intimidating and patronizing, and they even tried to pressure me into submission. This isn’t how people should treat each other. I’m honestly shocked. I won’t be returning. Thankfully, if there’s an issue again, it’s just a fiver. I can’t shake the feeling that there was some racism involved, and judging by other reviews, I’m not alone in this experience. If you value respect, steer clear of this place. I’m seriously fuming.

"Not suitable for major fixes"
If you're looking for major repairs, steer clear. It's fine for things like brakes and such. I'm really let down by them. They just kept increasing the initial quote. Honestly, I would have been better off purchasing a new bike.
